Shoma Bakre

Shobha is an ex software engineer and ex banker turned into a stay-at-home mother, with a keen interest in the not-for-profit sector. An alumnus of NIT Karnataka and IIM Calcutta, Shobha is currently working on a voluntary basis for a Singapore-based humanitarian organization. She is also involved with a few NGOs and Social Enterprises in India in an advisory role. Shobha is co-founder of BridgeAble Pte. Ltd- a strategic consulting and research company focused on creating and enhancing social impact. Seed funder for new ideas in the social impact space and technology, Shobha is also a keen runner, hiker, movie buff and traveller.

Balachandran Warrier has a Master’s Degree in Engineering from University of Florida, Gainesville, USA. He has nearly 50 years of senior level experience in managing engineering and service organizations in the USA, UK and India. For the last 15 years, he has been actively associated with non profit organizations that have a passion for improving the lives of the downtrodden across many parts of India. He was the CEO of Manipal Foundation and also Founder Director and Treasurer on the Board of United Way, Bengaluru. A keen sportsman during his younger days, having played both Cricket and Badminton at the National Level, he continues to be involved in sports and cultural activities at the club level.

Pankti Shah directs all marketing and advertising development, strategic planning, and client relations at The Event Group, Incorporated, a full-service event and marketing agency in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Pankti has notable experience in event, multi-cultural, and direct marketing as well as brand analysis/building and strategic management. She also has significant experience within the advertising environment, working on direct mail campaigns, print advertisements, marketing collateral, and radio commercials. Some of her past employers include Carlson Marketing Worldwide, Campbell-Ewald Advertising, and Target Corporation. Pankti is an MBA graduate of the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. Pankti strives to add value in various capacities and is involved in numerous endeavors aimed at positive social change. She enjoys traveling the world, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Vidya Phalke is the Chief Technology Officer at MetricStream. Over the course of his career, Vidya has held various Senior Product Management and Engineering positions in several reputed MNCs, building enterprise-grade businesses and operations support systems. Besides a PhD in Computer Science from Rutgers University, Vidya holds a Management degree from MIT Sloan and a Bachelor’s degree from IIT, Delhi, India. He is deeply involved with social initiatives that strive to provide opportunity for education and employment to the under-served children and youth in India.

Shanthini Dawson

Shanthini Dawson is a seasoned practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in promoting sustainable development in post-conflict, transitional and emerging countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar and Afghanistan. In her previous role as the strategic advisor to the Minister of Rural Development and thereafter to the Minister of Education in Afghanistan, she led and contributed to the development of national policies in rural development and community governance, sustainable livelihoods, micro-finance, primary and secondary education, vocational training and skills development. Her work has been supported by the World Wide Fund for Nature, the United Nations (FAO, WFP, and UNDP,) and US-AID. Shanthini completed her graduate studies including a PhD in the UK at the University of Oxford. On her return to India in 2011 she became personally involved in dementia care, the care of orphaned children, environmental justice and volunteerism.

Shoma Bakre was co-founder of EmPower Research, now a part of Genpact. A year and a half after the acquisition of EmPower, Shoma voluntarily retired from corporate life in December 2012 to pursue her passion for social development to help make a difference to the underprivileged in India and bring about positive change. In her personal capacity she has been actively involved in helping, both at the grassroots and strategic level, various organizations that work for the welfare of underprivileged women and children. Shoma has more than 25 years of experience in diverse areas including CSR, entrepreneurship, media, human resources management, business development, corporate training and teaching. She established Let’s Do Some Good Foundation, a social responsibility platform for all stakeholders who would like to come together to bring about positive social change. 


Shobha Punukollu

Anindita DasLala has been in Engineering Consultancy and Business Development roles with reputed, leading global consultancy firms. She is a well know entity in the Infrastructure space having managed large projects in the metros. She is a Civil Engineer by training and prior to settling down in Bangalore, her career has been primarily based out of Delhi and Bombay. Anindita has more than 25 years of experience as an engineering professional. In her personal time and capacity, she has been actively involved in education for underprivileged children at all these locations. She is a trustee of Let’s Do Some Good Foundation,.
